The assembled throng has come to watch as 2008 AVN mistress Tera Patrick (that's her elusive purple sleeve captured above) cut the ribbon that will officially open the AEE ceremonies. Fashionably late, she strides down the red carpet flanked by Sasha Grey and Teri Weigel. A man with a gigantic pair of novelty scissors turns the festivities over to the chairwoman and a poor ceremonial piece of paper loses its life. Let the games begin.
