I had another job interview this morning. It was at 9:30 a.m., which meant I had to get up before 8 a.m., something I’m not used to doing anymore. Dragging myself into the shower I remembered what it was like to live for your day job. Then squeezing onto the street car at morning rush hour, no place to sit, nobody getting off and only people getting on, everybody’s soap and cologne and perfume and general morning freshness all in each other’s faces, all the way downtown. The interview lasted about 15 minutes. I don’t think the interviewer was very impressed with me. But I just couldn’t bring myself to articulate answers to questions about my “philosophical approach” to this particular position.... Read more at: Friction |
