Actress Ashley Newbrough celebrated her 21st birthday last night in true new-Hollywood fashion, with a blowout bash at JET Nightclub at The Mirage. Joining the lovely Newbrough were family and friends including Joanna Garcia (her co-star on the popular new CW show, Privileged), Garcia’s beau, Trace Ayala, and Justin Timerberlake’s mother, Lynn.
After being escorted into VIP by JET’s marketing director Steven Lockwood, Newbrough and company joined Danny A., club impresario and managing partner of The Light Group’s Bank Nightclub at Bellagio. They enjoyed Level vodka, Redbull and Moet White Star before JET’s sexy servers, complete with flaring sparklers, presented Newbrough with a magnificent birthday cake created by Jean-Philippe Patisserie. The group then partied and danced until 3 a.m.

LAVO at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino is the ideal location for a pre-theater dinner or a post-theatre nightclub experience.
To begin, chef Ludo Lefebvre has created a $30 per person, three course menu served daily from 5 pm – 8 pm that is available to anyone with a ticket for a show at The Palazzo or The Venetian for that evening. Choices for the first course include Greek Salad with Feta Mousse, Manchengo Baked Onion Soup, Bistro Salad with Goat Cheese Vinaigrette or Pizza Margherita. Second course selections include Linguine Vongole, Caramelized Salmon with Honey & Orange, Herb Grilled Chicken Paillard or Steak Frites. The perfect end to dinner and start to the show is the dessert course with choice of Warm Chocolate Bread Pudding, Apricot Almond “Pizza”, Apple Crisp or the Trio of Ice Cream with Chocolate Chip Cookies.
When the curtain drops, LAVO offers entertainment of a different kind as top Strip performers celebrate after their shows upstairs in the nightclub. Each Tuesday the cast of Jersey Boys hosts LAVO Tuesdays, an industry night with DJ Five that has quickly become a local favorite. On Thursdays, comedian Wayne Brady takes his turn at the helm following his show for RESIDANCE night with DJ Chris Garcia. Cover charge for the nightclub is waived with a ticket stub from any entertainment show from The Palazzo or The Venetian.
Keeping with the entertainment theme, each Thursday, Friday and Saturday the pokers pros from The Venetian’s The Real Deal! host a meet and greet for the show’s VIP ticket holders in the lounge at LAVO following their 5:30 pm show.
Situated at one of the prime locations at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, LAVO restaurant is an ideal place to dine for dinner or a late night snack. The restaurant is open seven days a week starting at 5 pm, with late night dining until 1am. The nightclub is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 pm until the wee hours of the morning.

Fast Passes at Fright Dome are key to haunted experience
With five haunted houses, 23 rides and terrors awaiting you around every corner of the five acres that make up Fright Dome, waiting in long lines isn’t an option. Luckily, for an additional $15, Fright Dome-goers can enjoy front-of-the-line access for all of the attraction’s haunted houses—Chainsaw Massacre, Killer Clowns in 3-D, Hillbilly Hell, Vampires Bloodfeast and the HEX-MAS Nightmare.
“Lines for haunted houses can average between 20 minutes to more than an hour,” said Jason Egan, creator of Fright Dome. “It is such a worthwhile investment to purchase a Fast Pass. With a Fast Pass, not only can you have nearly immediate access into each house, but you have more time to enjoy everything else Fright Dome offers, such as the Scare Zones, Drop Demons, rides and our Freak Show.”
Fright Dome is open from 7 p.m. to midnight Thursday, Oct. 23 – Sunday, Oct. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $33.95, and Fast Passes are $15 more and can be purchased online at www.frightdome.com.

The Restaurant
LAVO, is a new dining and nightlife concept at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. LAVO is Latin for "to bathe or cleanse"; the AvroKo designed space derives inspiration from the bathhouses of ancient Mediterranean cultures, while the menu highlights the best of the region's cuisine. Chef Ludo Lefebvre and a team of noted chefs will guide guests upon a culinary odyssey with a selection of the most appealing dishes from countries such as Spain, France and Italy. The menu is designed to encourage sampling and sharing among friends. The 300 seat restaurant includes a 180 seat dining room, a 20 seat private dining room and 100 seats on the outdoor terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with late night dining until 2 am.
The Nightclub
LAVO Nightclub is the perfect destination for the reveler looking for a late night cleanse. Turkish water basins flank the bridge that leads to the second floor nightclub and the bridge itself becomes a gathering perch from which guests can observe the action below. The elegant 4500 square foot nightclub features 40 bottle service tables, state of the art audio visual systems and the sounds of resident DJs Vice, Reach, Galleano and Berrie. The nightclub features vaulted glazed tile arches opening to a domed ceiling above the dance floor. Revelers can enjoy a sexy, elevated VIP area with posh banquettes, embossed leather walls and mirrored mosaic tile niches. LAVO nightclub invites you to join us six nights a week from 10 pm to 5 am.
The Lounge
The LAVO Lounge serves as an ideal meeting place to socialize in the early evenings and indulge in the culinary creations of our Mediterranean Bistro. With twenty foot ceilings of old wood and low chandeliers crown an area featuring a curved bar, leather seating and Moroccan tables. The lounge is highlighted by a spectacular glass and wood screened bridge and is bordered by a grand carved stone wall.
